Camcorder to vcr a/v hook up and record

All you need is an connecting lead that comes out of the camcorder and that terminates in three phono plugs. One yellow (video) one red (right audio) and one white (left audio). As you can see from the stock picture on your post the VCR front has the corresponding coloured sockets. So you plug them into that. Sometimes these sockets are hidden on a cover. If your VCR hasn't got them, you can use a scart socket located on the back. You get a scart plug with the same connections. If it has male plugs you will need to get 3 female in-line connectors to connect your leads.

Once connected using the VCR menu or the channel selector, select the AV socket you have connected the camcorder too. Start it playing and you see the picture. Providing you have a tape in the VCR pressing record will capture the picture from the camcorder.

How do i hook up my laptop and my tablet to a behringer Europower PMX 2000

Easy to do - just get a patch cord that has a stereo 1/8" plug on one end and two phono (RCA) plugs on the other end. Plug the phono plugs into the "Tape IN" jacks on the mixer and use the "Tape" volume to adjust the sound level. It's best to turn your laptop or tablet volume up to maximum, then adjust the volume on the mixer.

I need to copy, from a video camcorder to dvd,how can I do this.

Depending on what connections you have on your camcorder.
You can use a IEEE 1394 LEAD,or if your camcorder has only Phono connections then you can use those.
There will be the sockets, normally under a flap on the front of the DVD,the phono connections are normally marked AV3.
Hope this helps.

We want to know how to copy the recordings from the data card to our laptop. We are on holiday and want to back up all the images before returning home. We do not have the cd that came with the camcorder...

You would need to connect your camcorder to your laptop via a USB cable. Afterwards, the computer should detect another drive (which is your camcorder).

Go to My Computer and the drive for your camcorder should be listed. Once you see the drive for your camcorder, you just need to double click the folder where the pictures and videos are locatedit so that you can copy the pictures or videos that you want to send to your laptop.

Highlight/select the ones that you want to copy, then hit Ctrl+C on your keyboard (this will send a command to your laptop to copy the files that you want to copy). Afterwards, create a Folder on your laptop where you want to transfer the files to. After creating the folder, double click on it, to get inside it, then right click the mouse and select paste (or you can also press Ctrl+V) to transfer the copied files on to the said folder.

Hope this helps!

What type of av cable is compatible with a Canon MV530i camcorder?

The AV lead for your type of camera is a triple-segment mini-jack, which leads to yellow, red and white phono plugs.

Yellow is for composite video, white is for the left stereo and red is for the right stereo channel.

How to connect Sony CCD-TRV238E Hi-8 to pc

With the camcorder you should have a lead with a small (3.5mm) jack plug at one end (connects to the camcorder) and at the other end three phono plugs (red/yellow/white).

These can be plugged into either your TV, dvd/video recorder or, IF you have the card in your PC a video input card.

I'm guessing that you probably won't have the card in the PC (on the back of the PC would be two or three phono inputs) in which case you would need to install a card or use an external capture device such as Dazzle (link below).

If you have a dvd recorder (under the TV) these have the inputs you need and can burn direct to DVD but you can't edit the film.

Hope I've not confused you too much

I dont have sound on my laptop

A general case might be to take the stereo headphone output of the laptop and feed it a set of left and right line level (not microphone level) inputs to the soundboard. Radio Shack sells a cable that has a typical mini stereo headphone plug on one end and a pair of RCA Phono plugs on the other end. If the soundboard does not have phono jack inputs you will need some type of adapter plug on the ends of the cable phono plugs to match the soundboard's connector.

You then experiment with the laptop's volume control setting (start low) and the soundboard's input level control to get undistorted sound with minimum noise and hum. If you can not get rid of the hum, you probably need to add a ground loop isolation box (also available from Radio Shack, I believe) to reduce or eliminate the hum. __________________

Copy VHS/VCR do DVD using a Macbook?

If you have a digital camcorder, you can probably use that. Hook your VCR to the digital camcorder with a 3 RCA plug (video, L audio, R audio) to 3.5 mm stereo plug if your camcorder has that capability.

Otherwise, if you live in North America, look at the various Eye TV products at Their Video Capture device costs $99. That might be the easiest way. I'm not sure about all their products, but their products generally get good reviews.

Good luck!
