I cant open my roof wont open it says folding roof mechanism faulty. it is a peugeot 207cc

Hard top folding roof? Have the codes read. I don't work on Peugeot, But I work on others. They have a ton of sensors on them. You need to know which one is acting up. Is it the sensor or a wire or module.

I have G6 convertible sensor "top not secure" warning on panel. However secure and working. The hard top just stopped opening. Please advise Deborah

Hi Deborah , Your going to have to take to the dealer , there is a DTC - diagnostic trouble code stored in the ( FTC ) folding top control module . Such as this one DTC B1296
S14 is the Folding Top Front Latch Actuator Position switch. The Folding Top Control (FTC) Module uses S14 to determine when the top is latched in both the open and closed positions. S14 closes and pulls the signal circuit low when the top is latched.
DTC 1296 01: Movable Roof Header Unlatched Sensor Circuit short to battery

DTC 1296 06: Movable Roof Header Unlatched Sensor Circuit short to ground or open

DTC 1296 58: Movable Roof Header Unlatched Sensor Circuit incorrect reaction after event

DTC 1296 59: Movable Roof Header Unlatched Sensor Circuit circuit/component protection time out

Circuit/System Description
S1 is the Folding Top Header Latch Cylinder Sensor. The Folding Top Control (FTC) Module uses S1 to determine if the Folding Top Header Latch Cylinder is in the latched or unlatched position. S1 is a hall effect sensor that becomes active when the cylinder is in the unlatched position.

We just bought a house with an AquaStar II solar pool heater, when we try to adjust the temperature we get a flashing check sensor error. Can anybody help us find the sensors or how to fix it?

On the Goldline controllers, the check sensor light flashing means the sensor on the roof is either bad, disconnected or shorted out. When the check sensor light is solid on, that indicates it is the pool sensor. Check the wiring from the controller to the sensor on the roof. If the wiring is not damaged, most likely you will need to replace the sensor. You can check the sensor with an ohmeter, it should register 10,000 ohms at 77 degrees.

Check engine light came on, diagnostic revealed oxygen sensor, replaced all oxygen sensors, drove the car for 50 kms, stopped and restarted the car and after a few minutes, the light came on again. What ...

the beginning of yourproblem is misdiagnosis, you probably had it code scanned, and got an 02 code, if you had it on a real time scanner you would get readings from the scanner to assist in diagnosis, story i tell my assistants, the floor is wet, first guy mops it up and leaves, second guy noticed water dripping on the floor, so he mops it and places a bucket to catch the drips. third gut sees the wet floor, notices the drip , looks up an notices the roof is leaking, so he fixes the leak and mops the floor, same idea with cars, you get the symptom but you have to find the cause to repair right, so find a tech with a real time scanner and take the time to do it right

My CRX roof wont go up and down with the switch on the dash, yet the boot lid goes up with the key, cheecked fuses ok, cheecked plug and control box fault LED flashed seven times and then later on flashed...

7 blinks (roof lock switch, not operated by user)
9 blinks (rear window switch not operated by user)
These codes mean user has not undone roof locks or rear window is not fully closed
Providing that is not your problem, reset roof control unit
Turn ignition off
In under bonnet fuse box remove fuse 32 7.5 amp for 20 seconds
Refit fuse and check roof operation
This clears codes and resets roof

Audi Convertible Roof broken

i can,t see why all these should need to be replaced, you need to get a more detailed report of what exactly they want to replace and for what reason in my experience dealerships dealing with roof faults will replace parts one by one untill the problem is fixed and surely the dealer should cover the cost of the repair if the roof faulted after only 3 weeks

I have a honda type r 2004 and i have taken the fuse out of the alarm as it keeps going off please help how do i fix this the battery is not flat and the car still starts but the immobilizer does not work...

i have had the same problem and cured it by removing the cover from the interior alarm sensor on the roof and tightening the screws that hold the acctual sensors in place. if already tight or if this dose not work try boring out the two holes in the outer cover as they may be obscuring the interior sensors and causing false alarms all the time. also check for any damp condensation around the sensors between the roof and roof lining.
worked for me on a 2003 type r
good luck !
