Is it changing the format correctly to work in the camera as that is what it sounds like with the limited information. If you can, read in the manual what the format should be for the camera and go from there. Post back here if you need any more help :)

SOURCE: No image on the viewer; no image being recorded.

If your Canon A80 camera shows previously stored images of memory card in playback mode but does not show live view in camera mode to take fresh picture then ccd imager chip got defective and need to be replaced.
Local camera repair shop will help you to replace ccd imager chip because camera will take apart in detail and soldering work is needed.
Thanks.

FAQ Proper Use of SD Cards with Moultrie Game Cameras

Question appears to be from some months ago, but Moultrie web site shown here suggests copying photos to a computer if possible directly without using the camera itself. Then it suggests reformatting the SD Card itself.

Please specify which digital picture frame you are using. You mention that .... "I click on the photo viewer icon on the desktop and i get a message "no photo viewer found" ..... Try the cards in another camera. If you get good images to show, then the problem is in the cameras. If not, then the problem is in the reader. See whether some dirt is in the slot interfering with the contacts.

I do not believe that cd-rom has anything to do with reading an SD card at all. I think if I remember correctly it is a photo album type program and I thought it stinks. Your best bet is getting an SD card reader which some are very cheap on e-bay and fit into a usb slot. You place the card into the reader and it will download your picture files taken with the 80. Your windows program picture viewer or similar should be able to show your pictures on your computer. I personally took out the cd-rom panasonic program and use windows picture viewer or similar

Picture on viewer fine..transfer to computer divided

It sounds like the file is corrupted. Try formatting the memory card in the camera. This will wipe the memory card clean and eliminate it from the being the problem. Formatting the memory is erase the memory card and you willnot be able to get the pictures off it after you format it, so make sure you down load all you the pictures you want befor formatting the card. Then occasionallly after downloading everything, format the card on a regular basis. This will help to keep the cards internal memeory from being fragmented. If formatting does not fix the problem, try another card (format it before use) if this does not fix it, take it to a local camera store and let them trouble shoot the problem or send the camera off for repair.
