The code suggests a balance issue exists. If excessive vibration occurs during the spin cycle the washer should be made level with all feet on the floor surface. Should there be soft spots under the floor surface, the machine will not distribute the spin energy equally.

If you have eliminated the above possibility yet the problem remains there may be a binding within the machine enclosure or a damper may be worn.

SOURCE: Error code F09/Whirlpool Duet front loading washer

"F09" is an Overflow Condition error. This is usually attributed to a malfunctioning pressure switch, loose or broken connector between the Pressure Switch, Drain Pump and Central Control Unit (CCU), or...a drain pump or drain line that has become clogged.

Since this problem occurs periodically during the wash cycle, I would check your drain pump filter for obstructions first. It could be that you have debris lodged in the pump causing it not to drain properly. To access the pump:

1. Unplug the washer.
2. Remove the lower kick panel under the door by removing the screws under the bottom edge. HINT: Placing a couple of blocks of wood under the front feet of the washer will make access much easier.
3. The drain pump is located under the wash tub in the center. HINT: If you own a shop vac, remove the drain line from the standpipe at the wall and pull a vacuum through the drain line. This will remove all residual water from the washer and make clean up later a lot less messy. Now, remove the cover on the drain pump and remove. Clean out the pump filter and check the pump impeller for obstructions.

If you do not own a shop vac, place a bunch of towels around the drain pump BEFORE you open it. There's about a gallon or so of water in the tub, drain line and pump.

Try this first, and let me know if this corrects your problem. If not, you may need to check the pressure switch and wiring. I hope this helps you.

SOURCE: error code f24

F24 indicates a water temperature sensor error. If during the wash cycle in the water-heating step, the water temperature sensor (NTC) value is out of range the F24 error code will display.

Possible causes:

  • Too cold of water or hot water is turned off
  • Temperature sensor failure or loose connection
  • Control board failure

This problem has been found to be inherent with this model including its Whirlpool (Cabrio) and Maytag (Bravos) counterparts. It is due to the design of the water level control system, the pressure transducer, which has been integrated with the machine/motor control assembly. It has been found that issues with the pressure transducer including the pressure hose results in the flashing of the fault code F1. Air leaks and moisture in the pressure hose and lint or flashing in the air dome can result in signal error being sent to the machine/motor control assembly and hence the fault code F1 which is according to the service manual, a machine/motor control fault. You may observe that this fault code appears whenever water runs into the machine.

Whirlpool, the manufacturer of these models, has issued a bulletin regarding this issue and suggested the necessary actions in identifying the real cause of this problem and how to address it. Click on the link below for the troubleshooting and repair details.

I have Kenmore ELite HE5t Model 110. I keep getting an "F35" code and washer does nothing....even pushing the "Stop" button doesn't work..door will not unlock...I have to turn off breaker to open door.

Hi, we also got the SUDS error followed by F35 many times. I replaced the analog water level switch, Wirlpool part number W10156252, and the problem went away. The part is located against the back right corner of the top of the washer after removing the top cover. The part cost $62.99 + $12.95 express shipping from ApplianceZone.net. I have the Kenmore HE3t Steam Washer, model number 110.46752 700 front loader. I was able to run about 6 loads of laundry by unplugging the washer, waiting about 5 minutes, the re-plugging and re-starting the washer. Thereafter, the problem became permanent. I always used HE detergent. The washer was purchased new in December 2007, and the I made the repair in September 2009. I spent about $1300 for the Kenmore H3t Steam Washer, and I am disappointed that it required repair after less than 2 years. My mothers old Maytag washer lasted more than 15 years, and was not susceptible to soap SUDS.

WASHING MECHEN PROBLEM ELECTROLUX

Hi DRVBM
Welcome to fixya.
I'm Huuum and happy to assist you,

Tuk Tuk or banging may mean several things.
Uneven load or over load of cloths, meaning to mush inside at one time.
Or if it is a top load washer and, an old washer it may have a bad coupling connect in it to the transmission .

What's the model number, year of washer and slowly describe the issue!
with the answers to the above questions I may help you more!

Check these!
Is the load balanced and the washer level? The wash load
should be balanced and not overloaded. The washer must be
level. The front feet should be properly installed and the nuts
tightened. Reset the rear leveling legs (if needed). See the
Installation Instructions.
Did you completely remove the yellow shipping strap with
cotter pins? See the Installation Instructions.

Huuum ,

Neptune FAV6800aww Will not go into spin

I just did a repair on my FAV6800AAW by lubricating the needle bearings in the clutch pulley hub, the tub displacement sensor checked OK per the service manual check. I was getting dc/uc errors in the spin cycle, washer was purchased in 7/05. I have basic mechanical skills and used a socket wrench to remove clutch pulley hub, just follow the service manual removal steps to remove clutch pulley hub. Pull the plastic cover off the clutch pulley hub and inspect the spring, clean/lube needle bearings and the clutch hub coupler that drives spinner shaft. I used WD40 I may need to re-lube down the road with a good light grease. It took a few tries for me to get the clutch pulley hub to stay on after re-install and power up, getting the clutch pulley seated properly is the trick. I did not remove the washer tub for this fix, I just leaned the washer back to get a better reach angle, it is a tight work area. I did not want to junk 3.5 yr old $1k machine with out trying a fix. If you want to work on this model get the service manual, I found it online and I believe you can order it in PDF format from Maytag. Good luck!
I just went thru my 10th load of a mix of light, medium and heavy loads and all work fine no unbalance errors (DC/UC). Doesn’t fix the tangle problem :) Prior to this fix I could only run the washer with no clothes in it to complete a cycle with no dc/uc error codes.
