Question about Televison & Video
My question on your problems;
Power button of your TV or Remote pwr button?
Anyway, 1. If TV power button - the culprit is in your power button switch, lose contact - defective. Replace with spare.
2. If you're referring to remote power button - It's a signed of 'COLD SOLDER' joint where galvanic action occur in every electronic terminal leads soldered by LEAD, (terminal lead material is copper & solder material is lead = Corrosion due to galvanic action), at POWER SUPPLY CKT section. How to check a cold solder joint - Remove power PCB to access the soldered components and look for discoloration on terminal lead tip, if you found one try to wiggle the component, say Capacitors, Transistor, Resistor or Transformer it will easily detached from solder.
3. Other technique - Remove back cover of your TV, switch on power button then try to wiggle big component like capacitor, resistor power transistor if cause by cold solder the tv will on & off locate and fix. Please refer to photos.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If the voltage is absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience.
