Question about HP Designjet Z6100 InkJet Printer
I had an error code 42:10, cleaned the slider rods w/papertowel and water like suggested now i recevie an new error code but cant find info on this one thanks
Generic Firmware error.
Check that the Printer has the latest Firmware version?(chek through control panel, configuration page, zet admin) If not, update the Firmware to the latest version. Down load FW from hp official web site, upload it as specified, if you not familiar to do so., take help with others or call technical professional. Any error while uploading will damages the farmatter..

79.04 is a system error like ablue screen in windows. The troubleshooting process is very complex. Your best first step would be to disconnect any data cables and restart. If the machine comes to ready then it may be that you are sending data with either a corrupted print job or the wrong driver. If it errors even with the data cable disconnected then you will probably need to reset the eeprom. Make sure that the formatter is seated properly and all components on the formatter are seated properly.

ISS PCA problem.
Corrective Action: Try the following:
Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the
Power cord. Reconnect the power cord and power On the Printer.
If the System Error continues, replace the Ink Supply Tubes and Trailing Cable.

The 08 portion of the code indicates FRONT PANEL. the :11 is an action code requesting RESEAT, CLEAN meaning you should reseat the connectors at the display and on the other end at the electronics. SOURCE: hp z6100 turns itself off!
it contains m/b like desktop with cpu,ram,hdd etc check ram cpu fan & power supply refix them after cleaning ...............may b ur problem will be resolved.
