Problem is not going to be in your Signal Board SSB,
It is your Front Panel Board/ the board that Has Vol- Vol+ CH- CH+ OFF/ON -POWER/ Either contact switches are Bad OR Very Diry Take Contact Cleaner or you can use rubbing Alcohol to clean contacts.

SOURCE: We have a Mitsubishi tv Model WS48311 purchased in

You have bad switches on the front panel. Press them 50+ times to release them. Failing this you will have to replace them. You can disconnect the front panel to confirm this.

Will not turn on

If the green power light comes on for a few seconds at turn on and goes out do the self check this set has(I will be here on and off for a while):

when light goes out on the front of the set press and hold BOTH the menu and input (input can be labeled source on some models) for at least five seconds and release both buttons.

Power light will blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks, 2 blinks, a pause and repeat it for a total of 5 times.

Let me know what error code if any is found and I will direct you.

Note that if you have removed power from the set that will clear the error code and give you a 1,2 error which of course is no error--you have to plug set up and try again to turn it on and do the self check when it fails.

Tv truns on then turns off

if model indicated do the self check it has:

On front of set when green light for power goes out press and hold both the menu and input (source) buttons at the same time for at least 5 seconds and release both buttons.

Power light will then blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks, 2 blinks a pause and repeat it for a total of 5 times.

If set has been unplugged you must plug it back and try to get set to turn on--unplugging clears the errors.

Let me know what error you find and I will tell you what it means.

I have a mitsubishiti model no.vs60705come on go off

Set is in shutdown---it MAY have the self check feature but I think it is too old---when power light goes out on front of set press and hold Menu and Input (device) for 5 seconds or longer--release both and look to see if green power light blinks a sequence---like 2 blinks, 2 blinks, a pause and repeats for a total of 5 times.

If it has the feature let me know what blink code you find.

Have Hd 1080 series tv model # vs-50111 tv will not turn on. When you try to turn it on green light stays on for 3 seconds then nothing.

it may or may not have the self check but try this:

When green light comes on and goes off ON THE FRONT OF THE SET press and hold the menu and input buttons at same time for 5 seconds or more and release both.

Power light should blink a two digit error code like 2 blinks, 2 blinks and pause--repeat it several times--all their sets after 1999 have this feature.

If yours does not someone has to go inside and measure voltages etc to find problem---a lot of the older ones develop broken solder connections and the chassis would have to be examined for that.

When you turn it on the tv stays on for 5 or 6 seconds then goes off

When it shuts off and the power light goes out do the self check this model has:

On the front of the set press and hold both the menu and input buttons for at least five seconds and then release both.

Power light should blink a two digit error code at least five times.

Most common are 2 blink, a pause and 2 blinks or 1 blink and then one blink.

Let me know what you find and I will assist you.

When I turn the TV on it shuts itself off in two seconds. It's model WS65909 Diamond Series

This model should have a self diagnostic feature:

Turn set on and when power light goes out----Press and hold on the front of the set both the MENU and INPUT buttons for 5 seconds and release both.

Power light should blink a two digit error code---most common is 2 blinks, a pause and 2 blinks--set will repeat the code about 10 times.

Let me know what the error code is and I will tell you what it means and what may be needed to fix it.

I am here to help people--If you have any questions or need help let me know.

UNPLUG TV AND THEN PLUG BACK IN---TURN ON---GREEN POWER LIGHT COMES ON FOR A MOMENT AND GOES OFF.

PRESS AND HOLD “device” and “menu” buttons on front of tv for at least 5 seconds and then release both together.

Watch for power light to blink in a sequence:

1 blink-then 2 blinks-------no error

2 blink-then 1 blink-------X-ray protection

2 blink-then 2 blink-------SHORT PROTECTION*******

2 blink-then 3 blink---------deflection circuit problem

2 blink-then 4 blink---------vertical circuit problem

******2, then 2 is most common---usually means one of the fuses that protect the Convergence IC or IC’s is blown---set will detect no voltage to convergence IC and shut down.

SET WILL REPEAT BLINK ERROR CODE UP TO 5 TIMES AND THEN TO GET IT TO REPEAT MORE YOU HAVE TO UNPLUG SET AND TRY TO TURN ON AGAIN.

IF IT IS 2 AND THEN 2---USUALLY
CONVERGENCE CIRCUIT PROBLEM

if your set does not have a device button press Menu and Input together for 5 seconds and release. there will be a pause between blinks---2 blinks, a pause and two more blinks etc.
