My computer is down due to a power supply issue. Didn't know if there was a special cable that would allow a direct connection from phone to printer.

Sorry about the double post. Also, 3 weeks ago I was able to use the menu/print option on my galaxy s4 active thru the wireless to my hp photosmart d110 and now it tells me I can't use that print option even though it shows me my document and printer.

Google search:
"directly connect your cell phone to printer"
and you will find a lot of sites that describe printing from your mobile device - I did not find any that talked about a wired connection to the printer, though.

SOURCE: Download photos from cell phone

Yes it is, when you bought you're phone, you should have recived a cable to, this cable will be able to conect to you're phone and to you're computer. When it's conected you control the rest from you're computer, and you can download all you elements you want from you're phone into you're computer. Of course, if you have bought this phone from a friend, or you've stealed it or something, you may not have the cable, then you can go to a electrical shop or a phone shop and show/tell them your phone model, and I'm sure they will have the right cable for you ;)

My Epson Label printer is showing as not connected when its connected, when trying to set up or add as new printer.

What shows mac and ip address ? printer or pc ?
If the printer displays them, it means the printer in connected to router electrically.
Check subnet mask and gateway address.
Could be set wrong if the router is not on DHCP.

I guess the issue is in the ethernet components / settings.
Start isolation by elimination of the following
1. Computer -
2. Wifi connection to the router (or)
3. Patch cable connecting computer to the wall -
4. Router -
5. Patch cable connecting the printer to the wall -
6. Printer -

The LAN printer cannot connect to Computer (PC/Mac) directly unless you use a Cross over cable.

Is it possible to print directly from this device?

Yes and no. Depends on what you mean by directly.

HP printers will accept an email to their IP address and print.

But no, there doesn't appear to be a way to hook up a cable from the phone to the printer and print directly in that sense.

I have a Nokia 6700. How do I download a PC Suite for this phone?

Possible there are errors in the PC and so the phone is not recognised. You can transfer the pictures by removing the micro sd card and inserting on a card adapter to be directly read on the card reader on the laptop. If this is not possible you can activate bluetooth on the phone and laptop and get the files transferred easily after detection.
finally remove any programs particularly if a phone was installed earlier and reinstall the Phone.

How do i upload photos from cellphone to computer

  1. Determine Connection and Equipment Needed
    • 1 Determine the type of connection you will use to upload pictures from your cell phone to your PC. For example, if your telephone has BlueTooth capabilities and you have a notebook computer with BlueTooth, you may be able to upload pictures without purchasing any additional equipment.
    • 2 Purchase additional equipment needed, such a data link cable or blue tooth hardware to add to your computer. To find the data link cable for your individual cell phone, try visiting your local cell service provider retail store. Stores often keep these cables in stock. The cost for a cable runs from $20.00 and up.
    • 3 Make sure that the new cable fits properly in your cell phone and computer ports. The computer connection should be a basic USB connection.
    Download and Install Software
    • 1 Visit the website for your cell phone's manufacturer, for example the LG website. Do a search for downloads or software and locate the proper download for your cell phone and Windows (or MAC) platform on your PC.
    • 2 Install the software and follow directions carefully. Often, there will be very specific steps involved in ensuring that the cell phone and the computer recognize one another. For example, if you connect the phone before downloading and installing the software, the computer may not recognize your cell phone properly.
    • 3 Test the software and make sure everything is working properly. You should be able to pull up the software and upload all the pictures and videos on your telephone. Every cell phone manufacturer uses different software. While there isn't a single tutorial that will cover how to use every type available, most software comes with specific instructions and tutorials that will help you learn how to easily use the features available.
