Both are correct. You should suspend taking that **** well before having any dental treatment involving the jawbone, since otherwise it vastly increases the risk of complications afterwards.

The dentist is also correct in saying there will have been lasting changes already. There is a blood test which can assess your risk of complications from implants. You may also need to go on a course of anti-biotics before undergoing an implant.

If you have been taking pills (not IV) however for less than 3 years your risk of complications is thought to be low. If longer than 3 years then implants are not recommended for you. Think plates or bridges instead.

Cost of root canal. What percentage do I pay

Dental care and treatment is very costly, it may cost $400-$800, you should take dental insurance or dental plans. I would suggest to go for affordable dental insurance provided by dentist's network, under these plans you will get 20%-50% discount in complete treatment.

What does a root canal cost? Is that something that medicaid would pay for? I need some work done and I have to step around medicaid paying for things and not paying. bryanflake1984|<a href='htt

The costs vary depending on the dentist, location and the dental insurance plan you have. They are expensive for sure. If you have no insurance, consider having the work done at a dental college near you. When they teach, you can get a substantial discount on all services.

What is the main differences between cosmetic teeth whitening treatment and the teeth whitening treatment performed at the dental office?

The cosmetic teeth whitening treatment is not permanent and gives result only for sometime while with teeth whitening treatment (Zahnaufhellung M?nche) you get free for some years like 5 years. So if you are planning to whiten your teeth i would prefer teeth whitening treatment. Good Luck.

I have always been a heavy snorer. My dentist told me there is a new treatment called Palatal implants. Is it safe?

Palatal implants is also known as the pillar procedure.

The process involves injected braided strands of polyester into the soft palate. These implants then stiffen the palate which reduces snoring.

It's a relatively new procedure and whilst there don't' seem to be any serious side effects, the full effects of these implants are still being studied.
