I would recommend adding a small amount of the new litter in with the older product. Slowly you can start adding more and more newer product to the litter box until your cat receives the change without any problems.

The best way would be to place a phone call. You may send an email. Have your order number with you in order to be assured you get the correct order etc. I would prefer to make the call and speak to a live human. Explain the situation using a calm polite voice. I think you will get the customer service you expect this way. If the order has already been shipped, you may be able to send it back as long as you have not opened it.
It all comes down
to your cat to make the final choice. Once you find a brand that your cat
likes, stick with it. It may take some time searching for the right exact brand
that suit your cat but it is totally worth it.
