Hi if you want move apps to sd card go to settings, application and there press on the app which you want move. On the next screen you will see details about the app and a button move to sd card, just press it and the app gonna be moved to sd card. Bear in mind that some of the application can't be moved you will see then grey button.
Ik t depends on the phone you have. In case of an Samsung android device here is what you can do: - Go to settings - Swipe to Applications - Select Application Manager - Swipe to SD Card - Tap on an app with a empty tick box next to it - Tap Move To SD Card Now wait for a while and you'll see the button change to Move To Device Storage. The app is now, partially, on the SD card. Going back one screen will now show a green ticked box. This will not work for every app and you'll have to redo this each and every time the app is updated. Also be sure not to move apps of which you use a widget on your home screen, the widget will disappear.
You really need to study your manual of the device (I don't know what it is, because im not that good in guessing) how to transfer them. Some devices allow you to install apps on an SD card, some only allow the SD card as a kind of external drive. A place to store apps, but you can't run them from the card. You need to free some memory in the device and then install the app.
Sometimes you can't directly install to sdcard. You may need to move it there by going to settings, applications and click any app and click move to sd card. Not all apps are able to be moved to sd card or some phones/Tablets do not allow moving apps on sd card
Amber,
I think your problem may be due to it downloading into the internal memory of the tablet. There may be a way of moving the apps into the external micro sd card rather than deleting them.
" Go into settings, then to storage, then to used space, then to applications. In applications manager go to sd card there will be a list of your applications, touch/click on each one individually and within each one that can be moved, is a box "move to sd card" touch that box and wala it is moved! To move pictures I reset the cameras auto storage to the sd card then moved all my other pictures to the camera file which then stored them on the sd card. I then deleted the pictures from the system memory. Hope this helps! "

That is not how it work. Once you DL the app you can them move it to the SD card only if the application allows it. The Application Manager is what you use to move apps to the SD card. Google apps won't but Pandora and other will.
Try installing App 2 SD from Android Market. You should be able to move the installed apps to SD card using this application. Galaxy Mini comes with Froyo and hence you should be able to use this app and move possible apps to SD Card. Moving the app to SD card also depends on whether the developer has enabled the feature to move his app to SD card. App 2 SD will only be able to move the apps which have this feature enabled by developer to SD card. Hope this helps.
Go to Settings->Applications->Manage applications. At the Downloaded tab, tap on the application of choice, and tap "Move to SD card" button under the Storage section.
Please note that not all applications can be moved (disabled "Move to SD card" button) due to some Android system requirements. If an application is already moved, the button will now be named "Move to phone". You can also select the "On SD card" tab to view apps already moved.
Also, there is a free app by Sam Lu available at the Android Market.
