E04 is indication from the pump thermometer that the temperature is exceeding 155 deg F (50 C). If the water is too hot, unplug the pump and restart it when the temperature has reduced below 100 deg F (38 C). Before you restart the pump, make sure you push the reset button on the pump. If these steps don't solve the issue, then replace the thermometer on the pump.

Bestway Lay-Z-Spa

We sell the Bestway Lazy-Spa however we do not sell anything other than the replacement filter so I cannot tell you what is all included with that part number.
I would suggest you contact the store you purchased the spa from to determine the contents of the replacement item.

Fan runs, no ignition, no gas smell. E04 on LED. The fan is running louder than normal, but the heater was working up until today.

Code E04 is a fan issue. It might be the fan, a tube or the pressure switch. I hope this helps.

Air Flow Fault, E04 and E05 Errors, all are ingniter related?

Is it the digital user interface? Often when you are receiving multiple error codes, its the control board that is bad. This is not as common in Mini-maxes and it's an expensive fix but it might be what's wrong. Most heater problems, however, don't have anything to do with the heater. Make sure your flow is good. Clean all baskets (skimmer and pump) and backwash (D.E. or Sand filters) or clean (cartridge filter) your filter.
