Check the inlet valve for any defects also check seals on the inlet valve, check solenoid valve that controls the inlet valve also check if the pressure switch is working properly.

How do I adjust the pressure foot on my Singer Quantum XL 100

I would caution you about doing that; however occasionally the screw regulating pressure DOES work loose.

Open the cover and follow the shaft up with your eyes. About 1/2 way up, you'll see an Allen screw, and that is what holds it and where you can adjust it.

I have a 96 Acura 2.5TL an a screw fell out of the center of my fuel pressure regulatior valve when I took the plastic cap off it. Can anyone tell me what that screw is for an can it be the reason my car...

That screw is probably the pressure regulator adjustment screw, this screw is to adjust fuel pressure. Regulating fuel pressure is very important in newer engines. Suggest going to shop good with fuel pressure problems. Not easy fix for a DIY.

1995f350 wich line goes from MC to proportioning valve

Your vehicle is equipped with antilock brakes. It either has a "Rear Antilock Brake System" (RABS) or it is equipped with "4 Wheel Anti-Lock" (4WAL).

Some units use a pressure regulating valve that screws into the rear port on the master cylinder.
All units built in 1995 have lines that go to either the Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) or to the RABS Valve. However, that vehicle does not use a conventional proportioning valve, so I am not sure what to tell you.

I have a troy built pressure washer model no. 010245-1. the screw (not pressure valve) is missing from the bottom. To replace, what size would I need to buy. And can I get the screw from Lowes

You can probably (like 90% sure) get the bolt at Lowe's, however I can't seem to find your model number. Your best bet would be to lug the thing in there with you, then sit down in the bolt aisle and try them out :)

Im trying to recharge my ac in my 1995 audi 90

buy r134 can w/pressure gauge at local parts or department store. Folllow directions on can as far as application. The valve only fits the low pressure line, so there is no way to accidentally attempt charging high pressure side. Unscrew cap, attach valve of r134, check gauge. if fully charged already, do not overcharge... won't cool better, only cause damage.

Compressor will only build up to 30psi,i have checked head gasket its ok reed valves seem ok (not broken)

there should be a pressure regulator on your compressor. sometimes the adjustment is covered by a plastic cap, remove the cap and use a flat screwdriver to turn the pressure regulating screw. clockwise for more pressure or counterclockwise to decrease the pressure. depending on the type of pressure regulator it should only take 2 to 4 complete turns to increase your pressure to 110-120 psi.

We have two 16 year old shower faucets (house was built in 1993 by Del Webb). Can't tell what model they are. We are guessing they are Moen Legend 3175 (one handle). Problem seems to be pressure balancing...

This is a common problem with this type of shower mixer valve. They are not very good at regulating with pressure change. Your options are somewhat limited to not flushing the toilet or using any other taps when in use, repalce the mixer valve for a modern ceramic unit or installing a 2 vane hot & cold shower pump.

Heater shuts off when hooked up to propane tank. will work with disposable canisters.

Try regulating the gas pressure down with a grill type regulator, i think you are trying to push to much pressure through the system.

Water pressure in dishwasher too high

Try regulating the pressure via the supply tap on your wall. Alternatively buy lots of miniature bungee straps to hold down the items.
