Hi. After you pull the first filter out, look with a flashlight because there is another right beside it unless it was never there to start with. So, there are two filters in there.

SOURCE: could I use wire size 14 for 1 1/2 ton air window

No sir,14 gauge, three conductor will carry only up to 15 amps, which is usually wired for lighting circuits.Look on the electrical requirement plate on the unit, usually located under the front panel cover. It will tell you how many amps are drawn when unit is operating.Using a three conductor cable;wire accordingly:#14--15amps----#12--20amps---#10--30amps----#8--50amps.These are the wire sizes and the current(amps)they will carry.Be safe! Lost machine bolts for louis philippe sleighbed

You can pick replacement up at a hardware store. If you need to figure out how long just line up the holes the bolt goes through, put a straw or somthing like it through, mark the depth and that is the size you need. I am guessing it is about a 3 1/2 inch long bolt at 3/8inch in diameter....may be a 1/2 inch in diameter.

How important is perch diameter?

Perch diameter is an extremely important factor in relation to perch choice. It is crucial that you choose a perch that is the right size for your bird. Here is a sizing chart I came across to help educate you further on perch diameter. Your bird's foot should wrap around approximately 2/3 of the perch; their toes should never meet/overlap.

Bird size Perch Diameter

Extra small 1/2 an inch or less
Small 1/2 an inch to 5/8 of an inch
Medium 3/4 of an inch to 1 inch
Large 1 inch to 1 1/2 inches
Extra Large 2 inches to 2 1/2 inches

What size npt thread is the adaptor

Common American National Standard Pipe Taper Threads
  • NPT - National Pipe Thread Taper
  • FPT - female (internal) National Pipe Taper threads
  • MPT - male (external) National Pipe Taper threads
  • NPTF - Dryseal American National Standard Taper Pipe Thread (ANSI B1.20.3)
For NPT threads a sealant compound or Teflon tape must be used for a leak-free seal. For NPTF no sealant is needed for a sealing.
Characteristics of NPT (also known as ANSI/ASME B1.20.1 Pipe Threads, General Purpose):
  • tapered thread 1o 47'
  • truncation of roots and crests are flat
  • 60o thread angle
  • pitch is measured in threads per inch
Note! Pipe sizes do not refer to any physical dimensions. The outside diameter of a pipe or fitting must be measured and compared to a table for size identification. A 3/4" NPT pipe thread has an outside diameter - OD - of 1.050 inches.
Each thread size has a defined number of threads per inch - TPI, or pitch. The 3/4" NPT pipe thread has 14 threads per inch. Both the TPI and OD of the thread are required for positive identification of thread size because more than one size have the same TPI.

NPT threads are not interchangeable with NPS - National Pipe Straight - threads.
NPT threads may look similar to ISO 7/1 threads. However, ISO and NPT threads should not be mixed. ISO threads have 55o taper angle versus 60o for NPT. The NPT root and crest configurations are also different from ISO. For ISO threads pitch is usually measured in millimeters (may be expressed in Inch). The pitch are different.

I have an old gateway 7023ge computer and i wanted to find out the size of my cooling fans so i can replace them. i have 2 fans one front and one rear. they are both the same size.

Computer case fans for older computers were usually standard sizes of 80 millimeter or 92mm, maybe120mm. 25.4mm = 1 inch, so an 80mm fan is about 3 inches. Measure the diameter of the fan from the tip of one fan blade to the tip of the opposite fan blade. A 92mm fan is about 3 1/2 inches in diameter and a 120mm fan is about 4 3/4"

Again, these sizes are _nominal_, so whatever your measurement is closest to is what you need. You should be able to measure the rear fan from the outside back of the computer without taking anything apart.

Im looking for the thread size, off the drive shaft of a power build 10.5 hp

i'm assuming your looking for the nut that holds on the flywheel? if so, measure the diameter of the thread in the crankshaft. you need the diameter and pitch(oor threads per inch) to "know" the thread size. Measure the diameter accurately. then, measure the length of the thread. example, if there is 1/2 inch of thread length and you have 4 threads in that length it is a "8" thread. so if the diameter (overall diameter measured on top of the tips of the thread) is 1/2 inch, then your thread is 1/2-8.
