How do i check my voicemail

Are you sharing your home phone line with your fax? If so, do you have a voicemail or an answering machine connected in the same line?

If you have an answering machine connected to the same line as the fax, set the answering machine to answer incoming calls before the printer does. Increase the number of rings by a factor of 3 over the answering machine. For example, if the answering machine is set to pick up on 4 rings, set the printer to pick up on 7 rings.

If you have a voicemail feature in the same line as the fax, you may subscribe from your phone service provider for a distinctive ring pattern feature. You can program your printer to have a distinctive ring pattern and phone number for incoming faxes.

call your phone from another phone and leave yourself a new message, then go in and delete that message, it worked for me

Voicemail is completely reliant on your cell phone carrier, you must talk to them about fixing it. Its cutting out on people or hanging up on them, since the voicemail is not working. It also might be the problem behind how it hangs up immediately, it also could be a phone problem. But Im pretty sure its your cell phone carrier. For example I had a text message problem on my old smart phone, youd expect it to be a problem with the phone, but instead I had to get it re-setup through by cell phone provider as the settings messed up. (Settings sent to phone from the cell phone provider, not in the phone itself/originally)

This has nothing to do you with your phone, and everything to do with your cellphone provider. Give them a call, check their website, or your bill for a customer support number.

In the phone book options somewhere there is the speed dial settings you should be able to change it there. You may need to program the new voicemail number in the phonebook. If not look in that menu for the voicemail option there is where you change it.

Go to the setting and put voicemail alert from off to on.

this may solve ur problem..go to menu, settings, hit the phone settings, hit the restore factory settings... if you have sec.code hit it there,,dont have.. just key in 12345,,. or use this *#7370# or *#6680#

Im using a phone that was used by someone else and I don't know how to set it to recieved voicemail for myself.

You need to erase your voicemail number you put and set it to off again.
