Typically easily resolved. Shut down the phone, remove the battery, wait a bit (30 seconds should do) and replace the battery. Your phone should boot without safe mode. Good luck.

Is the bluetooth on Capella sleep and sound alarm clock, CR50, compatible with an Android samsung galaxy s4? I can't get it to pair

Samsung Galaxy S4: Trying to pair by Bluetooth to Capella CR50 Desk clock: Unable to pair:

Hello..

Yes, the Capella CR50 should be able to Bluetooth pair with any device that can connect via Bluetooth (as stated in the Capella product description).

If you are not able to connect try doing the following (process of elimination) to resolve why this is happening:

  • Turn off and turn on again Bluetooth mode
  • Try resetting the Bluetooth app in Applications>All Applications under Phone Settings
  • Try eliminating apps that may be affecting the bluetooth connection.. you can narrow this down by rebooting the phone into Safe Mode. If in Safe Mode, your S4 is able to connect via bluetooth to the Capella CR50, that will tell you that it is software related, and most likely an app that you installed that is not playing nice with your phone. You can either remove apps one by one and retrying to connect via bluetooth to find and eliminate the issue, or remove all the apps you installed and start fresh.
(Note: removing an app with erase any settings you set up as well as any database within the app (such as a game with scores/levels/and any rewards you received/purchased, unless that database is saved in an online cloud account you sign into specifically for that app, or sync to Facebook (FB) while having the game installed in your FB account

How do I turn off "safe mode" on a Samsung Galaxy S4?

To turn off
Powering down , then back on should do the trick. Be sure to completely down. Do not select "restart". If you still have problems, remove back cover and pull battery from device. Leave the battery out for about 60 seconds, then place the battery back in, assemble the rear cover and start the phone again.
Some galaxy s4 models may require you to press and hold the volume down button during start-up in the same manner as enabling it to exit safe mode.

My S4 unit turns off by itself... what could be the problem and what will I do?

To turn on Safe Mode, follow these steps:
1. Power the phone off.
2. Once the phone is off and all lights are emitting, press and hold the Power button to turn the S4 back on.
3. When the Galaxy S4 logo appears on the screen, press and hold the Volume Down button.
4. Continue to hold the Volume Down button until the phone completely boots. You will see the words "Safe Mode" appear in the lower left corner of the screen if you performed the steps properly.
While in Safe Mode, you may not be able to use certain features or applications. The device is in a "bare bones" state where just the essential software is loaded. This allows you to get into the device quickly, enable or disable whatever you need to, then restart.
To turn off Safe Mode, powering down, then back on should do the trick. Be sure to power completely down. Do not select "Restart". If you still have problems, remove the back cover and pull the battery from the device. Leave the battery out for about 60 seconds, then place the battery back in, assemble the rear cover and start the phone again.
Some Galaxy S4 models may require you to press and hold the Volume Down button during startup in the same manner as enabling it to exit Safe Mode.
That's all there is to it.

How do i turn off safe mode on a samsung galaxy ace

Safe mode in Galaxy Ace s5830
To START "Safe Mode" use both hands to Press the Home Key (bottom centre) and then simultaneously Press BOTH the Power (right hand side) key, and the Volume-Up (left-hand side) key. When the Samsung Galaxy logo appears, release the sides' Power and Volume-Up keys but keep the Home key pressed. Safe Mode should come on shortly. SIMPLY DOING THIS SAME KEYING SEQUENCE, WHILE THE PHONE SHOWS "SAFE MODE" IN THE BOTTOM LEFT CORNER OF THE SCREEN, SEEMS TO TURN THAT "SAFE MODE" OFF. Safe Mode prevents Third Party Apps running, apparently.
