HI, First I hope you checked that someone has not turned the water off. next, you will find that the inlet of the water is operated by a solenoid valve. This has I would expect, stopped working. You will need to remove the power, then remove the top of the dishwasher. the inlet valve is where the cold water enters the dishwasher. You will need the make and model of the dishwasher, buy the new valve and replace the dead one. it will take longer for the new one to arrive than it will to change them over. Good luck

SOURCE: water isnt draining

Check your drain line and/or drain pump. The drain line should have a high loop at the point prior to where it connects to your drainage system in order to prevent drain water from the kitchen sink from back flowing into the dishwasher. In addition, most drain pumps have a small check valve that prevents this water from backing up as well. However, if you have something lodged in the drain pump (i.e., a toothpick) it can prevent the check valve from closing properly. This can cause water to back up into the dishwasher. You mentioned that the water will not drain. Is the drain pumping runnings at all? Please post back and let me know.

SOURCE: Dishwasher will not fill up with water

check the following- remove the wires from the fill valve.close the door and start the unit.u should read 120 v as u start the unit.if u read 120v then fill valve is bad.if not then chk and make sure the float is sitting completely down and float sw is closed.the power to fill valve goes throug this sw.if all is ok and still there is no power then u may not be getting power from cntrl board and control board could be bad.but that rarely happens.turbidity sensor does not affect the fill operation.good luck.

SOURCE: Our Asko D3250 dishwasher is brand new, and it

this sounds like a improper install ! ck to see if the drain hose outlet is lower than bottm of tank. it should drain to the disposal . and have a drain loop under sink .. the dw prosser is sensing that the drain is longer in time so it flasher inlet fault . . elevate the drain and try again ..if it drains to a lower use a stand pipe or a siphon brake . in the install .. mm

Testimonial: "The drain is working. It fills but doesn't start the washing, just comes on with the fault light. Could it be a faulty control panel? Or ???. Thanks."

SOURCE: Bosch smu4096ud /14 dishwasher wont fill with water

Find out where the water is being stopped. Firstly at the wall. Then maybe at the solenoid (depending on the model) and then just trace the water line until you find out where it's being stopped.
Also I would recommend you run some nickel safe ice machine cleaner through the system to get rid of the 'white junk'.

AEG Favorit 44090i Dishwasher will not fill with water

There may be a filter after the aquastop pipe which is blocked. This is usually at the back of the inlet valve. Also, the inlet valve may no longer work.

AEG Favorit 44080i Dishwasher will not fill with water

Well, this was very long-winded. If it works when filled manually, then check the stopcock for the water flow and open it more if not all the way. If this does not work, try the water pump in the back/bottom of the disher

Gld2445rfso will not fill up with water -- it will run fine and drain if I pour water into the unit and shut the door but will not fill -- water is fine at the entry point when disconnected -- worked fine...

Check the voltage at the solenoid valve and then check the reistance to it. This will tell you if the voltage is not present, replace the control board, if the resistance is high (infinity) replace the valve. If both are normal the valve is stuck, replace it.

LG drains and fills at same time.

We have a Candy CDI2012/E-02 32900347 1330 3315 dishwasher from around 2013 that once stopped working about 3 years ago. A constant beeping signaled the problem after trying to initiate the washing cycle. Not remembering the details, replacing the controller card (~ā‚¬50 ebay) fixed the problem at that time.

Now we had a problem again, similar to the one above. Once any of the programs was started, the dishwasher would first drain any remaining water (if detected any), then fill for a few seconds, then start draining/refilling again for about 3 times in a row until the controller detected there was something wrong. Again, everything stopped with a constant beeping. Replacing the controller card did not help this time.

There were actually two independent problems: We noticed that the inlet water hose was kinked. Thus, only little water would enter. Straightening the hose did not solve the problem, though.

We then thought it may be the flow meter. But it is extremely simple in this machine, turned nicely and did not seem to be the culprit.

However, we noticed some deposits in the water reservoir that also connects to the inside of the dishwasher. These calcareous deposits apparently clogged one of the channels. This may have induced some pressure difference, which the controller apparently interpreted as some water level problem. Unmounting the water reservoir with the built-in impeller, dissolving the clogging with toilet descaling agent solved the problem: the dishwasher is working again.

Actually, no electronic parts had to be replaced.

Not washing

Hi,

There are a couple of things to check:

Some of the first things to check would be, did the water accidentally get turned off to the dishwasher? You need a volt meter to check for voltage at the fill valve, then go from there. If you have voltage to the fill valve, than the valve is bad, provided you have water pressure to the dishwasher. If you do not have voltage to the fill valve, then the wiring needs to be traced back to the control board and check for voltage there. The overflow switch could be bad also. Also check the door switch(es). If there is a cancel/drain function, try that with the door closed. If it operates, then the door switch(es) should be good. Sure this would help: God Bless

Whirlpool thin twin filled with water then stopped!

Not sure about the dryer but there are a couple things that could cause the no draining issue.
You could have a leak or block in your pressure hose. Basically there is a thin, clear tube inside the cabin that attaches to the tub on the lower right side. If this has a leak or is clogged then the washer has problems filling and draining.
The other possible problem is a broken lid switch. This is an easy fix. Basically, the mechanical mechanism that goes down when you close the lid does not work properly so when it comes time to drain, the washer actually thinks the lid is open.
For both of these you would need to open cabin. I posted instructions for that here:

My bosch dishwasher does not fill with water (although it drains)

most bosch have the inlet valve at the end of the fill pipe and it has an anti-flood device.
try turning off the water, take off the fill pipe then reconnect it and see if this works.
taking off the fill pipe resets the anti-flood device

Sounds like dishwasher is running but no water coming out (there are no broken pipes or leaks)

I had the same problem. The motor is working (humming) and my dishwasher goes through the whole cycle without water. I googled it and found it on a website. Sorry I don't remember which website. Basically, it said to put some hot water in the bottom of your dishwasher and add some citric acid. I added 2 small packets (2 oz each) and filled the bottom of the dishwasher with hot water until it covered the motor or the drain of the dishwasher and left it overnight. The next day my dishwasher started and ran perfectly fine. That was over 4 months ago and I have not had any problems.

Frigidaire Dishwasher

Find your main stop cock in your household for cold water supply and make sure it is fully open(anti clockwise). If this makes a difference to rest of house, then your washers pressure should be fine too.If still same problem, check your washers fill hoses have not been shut off.Try this when you set the machine to wash, you should here water pressure when filling.Hope this is helpful to you.
