Is there a belt tightener you missed when you installed the new belt.
Check and see if there is one that fell down out of sight . Should have a spring on it if there is one.

is the idler pulley have enough tension on it,the tensioner on these can get bad and not put enough tension on the belt, push on it,it should take some force to move it,if you can get your fingers under the belt around the drum without much effort then replace the idler pulley and tensioner

SOURCE: Replace a belt on a Tricity Bendix TM 320 W Tumble Dryer

1. remove top plastic panel (retaining screws are at back)
2. locate metal brace (12 incles long and 1/2 inch wide) on top of the cabinet (in mine it is on right edge)
3. unscrew retaining small bolts (there is one a few inches below on the inside of the cabinet too).
4. Repeat for left side.
5. push the back and front halves of the cabinet away from each other
6. slide the new belt around the front of the drum
7. reassemble
8. if you need to tension the belt wrap 10-20 turns of insulation tape around the idler pulley

Check the belt routing over the idlers near the motor, there is a spring tensioner, also make sure idlers are smoothly rotating and not seized.

I hope I have been of help but please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
I appreciate your vote if you appreciate my reply.

double check that you are going around the correct side of each pully,
rule of thumb the belt has a front "grooved" side and a back "flat" side the pullys will be set up the same, (flat with flat, groved with grooved)

it is probably one of 2 things.Either the heating element is going out or the high temp sensor is bad. You can have these checked or if your a do it yourself type- all you need is an olm meter to check them out.
