Question about Refrigerators
My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.
Why are you replacing the bottom door. Most problems with bottom door freezers are, they are off track or the rails are blocked with ice. I suspect a new door is not going to solve your issue, unless it was damaged and deformed.
Send me the model number and I will tell you how to replace it.

There is a small door under neath ice maker shelf (literally) w/ 2 small screws that keep it in place,or a button that can release ice maker on the rt. side of machine. Good luck!!

Totally up to you. Most people set them for the temp they like their milk and the firmness of their icecream

Look for a lever to select cube size right on the icemaker.
