Question about Refrigerators
My name is Peter. I am a retired field service refrigeration technician.
When you plug in a new refrigerator it takes the refrigerant 24 hours to equalize, create a high pressure 160 PSI liquid side and a low pressure 60 PSI vapor side.
I have never experienced this before. I think you are very lucky. I suspect you may have had a restriction in your refrigerant system and it cleared itself.
Or, your defrost timer may have gotten stuck and freed it self after repeated attempts to start and stop.
Look in your freezers upper right hand corner. Is there ice or heavy frost buildup? This is where most restrictions occur.
