Question about RainWise Rainew Accum Wireless Tipping Bucket Rain Guage
No measurements from rain gauge are displayed on in house unit
It is possible that there is a thin film of dirt, oil, wax, on the contacts of the unit and also the batteries. I have seen this happen in the past. Try taking a Q-TIP and dipping it into some alcohol and wiping the batteries at each end along with the unit contact points. Let all contacts dry, and replace them into the unit without touching the ends. What do you have to lose? Good Luck Friend.
