Question about Roland CUBE Street Amp Combo
I put some poor quality batteries in it on the weekend and returned to it today after zero usage to find that they had spewed frothy acid all over the battery compartment. I Removed them, wiped it down then re-inserted some new batteries. The thing wouldn't switch on so I then tried the mains power which also yielded no joy. Any ideas? Has acid got into the thing itself? Is it just a blown fuse? Cheers guys.
Make a thick past of baking soda and water. rub it on the corroded parts. after a very short time it should clean up the contacts.. make sure to dry all the parts when you're done.

Most likely the acid ate the internal power supply, but if you can dis-assemble it and clean any trace of gunk with a toothbrush and electronic cleaner, including the fuse and it's contacts, maybe you'll get lucky.

That is the first thing to check. They are most likely inside the circuit board. Remember to replace them with the same voltage and amperage ratings.
