I did a recovery and there is nothing on my archos tablet i think i deleted everything off it

It seems that recovery was not successful, it may be due to some data error or unsufficient power during the operation due to which the recovery process was not successful or incomplete.
Visit service center or a professional to get it reloaded with its operating system.

My laptop after a system restore went wrong.. Vista wouldnt boot up and i couldnt get into the recovery partition.. its still there along with my vista program i installed xp... but really wan5t to gegt...

Your laptop normally comes with a 'bootable' recovery media (CD/DVD) for exactly the reason you mentionned of corrupted Operating system.

In addition, original Windows Operating System Installation Disks are also normally bootable and can also be used to recover from corrupted installations.

Please keep in mind that when you switch Operating Systems, you need to have, on hand, the correct O/S Drivers for your specific device.

Hope it helps.

When you turn on the lap top it says operating system not found. I put recovery disk 1/3 in and it loads windows files. Then a screen pops up and says windows recovery center or repair windows. For more...

Hello,

Do not press on F8. What you need to do is to do a start up repair. Select the option to repair the operating system. Then it will load some files. JUst wait for it to complete the loading process or the repair. It will tell if the repair is successful or not. If it doesn't fix the problem, then, you need to install the operating system to your computer. But, remember that operating system re-installation will return your computer to scratch. It will erase everything including the files and programs that you have added in your computer. But, if you don't have anything to lose then do the operating system reisntallation.

Here's a guide on how to reinstall windows vista:

Brand new acer aspire won't load windows xp

If you can still get into the BIOS, see if you have an option for D2D recovery. if so, make sure it is enabled.

restart the system and hold down Alt+f10. if your recovery partition is still intact, this should start a factory reload of your system.

I WANT TO RESET MY TOSHIBA A70 TO OUT OF THE BOX SETINGS I DONT CARE IF EVERYTHING IS ERASED

1. Restart your system.

2. When the POST screen comes, press F8 key repeatedly untill you see the 'Advanced Boot Options' screen.

3. Select "Repair Your Computer ".

4. A windows will open, select "Comlpete PC Restore" Or "Full Factory Recovery" option.

5. Follow the instructions.

6. It will ask you to "Select the Recovery Location / Drive" Or "Insert the Recovery CD/DVD"!

7. Now, the recovery process will start. It will take about 30-45 minutes.

8. You will get the options like : "Partition all drives", "Format all drives", "Fromat System drive (C: drive)", etc.

9. Select only "Format system drive (C: drive)". This helps you to prevent erasing your data on other drives (like, D: ,E: ,F: , etc) .

10. The system will restart multiple times and you will get message "Recovery Successful"!

11. Don't forget to create a 'Restore Point' after successful recovery...it will help later in case of any crash!

tell me if it helps...tc! :)

Compaq Presario SR5410F says unsuported mode after factory restor

Hi,

You need to restart the computer and start tapping F11 key when you restart the computer, we will be directed to recovery manager. We need to reset it back to factory settings as the factory restore was not completed properly. You will reach a screen which will say " Welcome to recovery manager".

Click on Advance Options and select System Recovery (This will erase all the data and will reinstall the Operating System and the Softwares/Drivers which came with the PC when you bought it).

Click on next after selecting system recovery, select NO when it asks you to backup the data. and click on next. You will reach a screen which will say "Re formating your Hard drive partition". It will take 30-40 mins (minimum) and will prompt a message. Recovery has been successfully completed. Click on Finish and follow the on screen instruction and you will reach the desktop screen in 15mins and PC will work absolutelly fine.

Shrey
