The 2 controls to our electric blanket are flashing "FF". What does that mean, plus there's no heat at all from it.

With the Sunbeam blankets that I have owned, FF meant that there was a bad connection somewhere. Have you tried the unplugging and replugging the Controller cord back into the blanket? Make sure it is plugged in GOOD AND TIGHT. If that part is connected as tightly as it can go, you may have a defective element.

What do you do when an electric blanket heating control has had something spilled on it?

Hi Ann; Make sure the power is off,Then see if there are screws to take it apart,if not you may be able to pop it open with A screw driver. If you get that far take A Q tip and dip it in rubbing Alcohol and clean parts inside, wait 5 Minutes for Alcohol to evaporate and re assemble. Plug in and try it. Hope this works for you it worked for me but it was very hard to get it apart.Good luck

Electric blanket won't heat

Take the help of your mattress pad company or look into instruction manual. Do not operate it unless you are familiar with it. You should call the customer care to know how to operate.

I am looking for a blanket for a picnic that won't get ruined if my young kids spill their drinks. Any ideas?

A blanket which is portable and waterproof may help. This one is now on sale on Amazon. It is made of 100% nylon and very soft for babies.
The material is fast-drying and lightweight. Large for family to have a picnic.
