SOURCE: Kodak Easyshare Z760 orange light flashing

The flash does not charge separate from the rest of the camera. Try cleaning the flash sensor on the front of the camera or the flash led may be bad.

Secondly, this light functions as a flash sensor which is trying to tell you that you need to use a flash although you may have the flash manually turned off. looks like a bolt of lightning with a circle/slash through it.

Hi,
How long have you owned the camera? If under a year then I would recommend having it serviced by kodak under warranty. If it's over a year old you may want to try a new battery otherwise consider replacement.
Thank you,
Lee

Hi,
unfortunately it would appear to be a CCD or main board failure.
If the camera is out of warranty (as this should be covered) my best suggestion is to pick up one off ebay with a broken screen and put your screen in it, broken screens are common on these cameras so they go quite cheaply, far cheaper than kodak would charge for repair and the swap is easy.
There are several searchs to try "parts v1003" "spares v1003" "Faulty v1003" "repair v1003"

Best of luck
