My furreal bouncy dog stop working, the light sensor provided above her eyes is not working at all.

I noted some slight corrosion on one of the (spring) battery contacts. I used a Dremel tool to clean this up (some sandpaper on the eraser end of a pencil would also work). Inserted the new batteries and she has been resurrected!

Pull the legs out manually, sometimes when the dog falls over or is stores, the legs go weird. The head should fix its self when the dog is turned on.

YOU PROBABLY HAVE A BROKEN WIRE ON THE SENDING EYE. THIS WOULD CAUSE IT NOT TO LIGHT AND THE RECIEVER NOT TO GET A SIGNAL MAKING IT NOT LIGHT.

YOUR DOG IS PROBABLY THE CULPRIT AGAIN . THEY TEND TO SNIFF AROUND OR JUST GENERALLY BUMP INTO THE WIRES (SOMETIMES THEY CHEW THEM).

IF NO OBVIOUS BROKEN WIRES OR LOOSE CONNECTIONS CAN BE FOUND. YOU CAN TEST THE WIRING BY USING DOOR BELL WIRE TO TEMPORARILY REPLACE IT - THE FAULT COULD BE INSIDE THE WALL OR UNDER A STAPLE WHERE THE WIRES GET SMASHED (THIS ONE WE CAN'T BLAME ON THE DOG) :)

IF YOU REWIRE COMPLETELY (PAY ATTENTION TO THE POLARITY OR THE TEST WILL NOT BE VALID) AND THE LEDS STILL ARE NOT ON YOU COULD HAVE A DEFECTIVE EYE

We had a simlar problem. The problem was the battery casing was not being securley fastened. Lay the dog on his back and then wiggle the cover as you are putting it back on. Once the dog reacts you know that you have the casing correct. Then you can screw the casing back on.
