Make sure you select the correct input for your device. If you are using RCA cables then select the RGB option on your inputs, or it may RCA as a connection. If you are using HDMI then make sure that is selected.

This happened to me last night. I took my streamer to a friends house, but when i came back it was recognizing my SSID but not accepting my password. I don't know exactly what happened but i tried unhiding my SSID and redoing my password, but it still wouldn't work. ultimately I renamed my SSID, Password, and PSK. Then on my streamer I found my router through WPS. I just added the router PIN and it connected and brought everything up. Re- entered my password and was good to go.

Are other devices able to connect? If not, then you're probably entering an incorrect password or you're trying to connect to the wrong network.
Hope this helps

Why do you need a roku if you have a smart TV?
Anyways, if you plug the connector into the TV via your HDMI port, it should power on. switch your tv to that input, and then use the remote to scroll through the setup options and find your wifi and set it up. it is a farily simple process

You probably have a slow internet connection. It is recommended that you have a minimum 25/25 Mbps connection from your provider. If you do then the Roku might be too far from your wireless router. Try to move the router closer to the Roku if possible. The best way to watch streaming video is with a wired Ethernet connection with a Roku 2 or other wired device.
