Back - light problem. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis.

I suggest purchasing a universal remote control for just a few dollars at your local walmart, kmart, etc. You could then use the automatic code search function of the remote to program it to your tv. I hope this helps! Der Strom

Need key number for my baier tv set

I recommend using the auto-search function to find the correct code for your Baier TV set.

To search for a code for your TV:

On the remote control, press TV once.
Press and hold SET until the LED blinks twice, then release SET.
Enter 9 - 9 - 1.The LED will blink twice.
Aim the remote control at the the TV and slowly alternate between pressing POWER and TV. Stop when the TV turns off.
To lock in the code, press and hold SET until the LED blinks twice, then release SET.

Tv baier three digit code

on your remote press pp 3 times, this should unlock the tv. if you want to cancel the code select the SETUP FUNCTION menu then highlight LOCK, using VOL+ VOL- keys cancel the lock (NO) hope this helps.
