Question about Dell Computers & Internet

1 Answer

I received your email in response to my question but you read my question wrong. It is not about a fax machine. I'm getting the display driver error when on my lap top playing facebook games.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

SOURCE: My printer will not print

Go to control panel- printers and check that your printer is selected as the default printer. If it isn`tn then right click on the icon and set it as the default printer. I am assuming that your laptop is recognizing the printer of course and your usb cable is inserted properly.

SOURCE: I have four computers on

Yes it will. Since all the connected device whether wired or wireless were connected to the same network, they will share bandwidth speed. For example your network is capable of 10 Mbps connection, the four devices connected in the network will acquire the bandwidth of that according to the software or application it was running. Mostly interactive games consume more bandwidth speed than just plain internet browsing. It will only support the devices up to the 10 Mbps limit.

We are getting a Comms Error 0030 every time a fax is incoming. What does this mean and how can we stop it?

Are you receiving faxes only from one place? This error indicates that your machine is not receiving the "handshake" from the other machine. It knows a call came in and sent a request to the other machine for parameters, but did not receive a response.

If this happens with all incoming faxes, your machine may need to be serviced.

Toshiba Super G3, e-Studio 170F

Fax display screen always reads, "Auto receive". When attempting to fax, the busy light flashes. Busy light stops flashing for 30 seconds, then starts flashing again.
Above is the default settings for the fax.

NGB0 indicates signal error or line condition error.
U need to check the phone line. U can hook any single line phone to the phone line, check for tones without background noise.

Receiving error

Ok...so I fixed my own problem. I had printed out a system data sheet on my fax machine and found out that the "error" was in under sending confirn, so I went into my menu to the sending confirm section and turned it off. Then my boss tried sending the fax and it came through like nothing was ever wrong...I think the other day when my Iguana got in my office, he must have done something, as I found him perched on my fax machine....hmmmm. Thanks for the follow-up email.

Sending Faxes

When the last page of your document has been sent successfully, the machine beeps and returns to Standby mode. When something goes wrong while sending your fax, an error message appears on the display. If you receive an error message, press Stop/Clear to clear the message and try to send the document again. You can set your machine to print a confirmation report automatically each time sending a fax is completed. If you get the error message write it down it should always supply an error message if the fax did not go through.
