Service mode entry, adjust and exit procedure to many popular brand TVs are given. Never forget to exit the service mode, after all adjustments have been done.
NB: Please read and understand well, the instructions to enter the service mode, before you begin. Be very careful. Note how to "EXIT" the service mode; after entering and adjusting data. This is very important.

Your TV has most likely come into contact with a static discharge. Don't fret it might not be damaged.
My Phillips TV I had came with a built in defense of sorts. The system will shut down and flash the power light as a warning.
Unplug you tv for 5 - 10 minutes and then plug it back in. Give it another try.

If it is still under warranty address this. The problem is the signal board. The one with rca jacks and RF connectors.
