Sounds like you need to replace the knives in the jointer.

SOURCE: Table saw won't turn on.

that reset is breaker and I would think that it should click when reset. I looked at a breakdown and the part number for the breaker is OLSL list 2.16 and they are in stock at Searspartsdirect.com If you have a volt ohms meter I would check the electrical starting at plug end of cord thru the breaker. Make sure you unplug tool before attempting. I would also take a look at the brushes for excessive wear and sawdust buildup. Let me know if I can help more

SOURCE: My very old Craftsman 10"

Go to searspartsdirect.com and put in your model number. Look at the motor and wiring section. Look at item 16. The motor overload protector. (probably your reset button) WIth saw unplugged, unwire one sid of this switch and test with an ohm meter. You should read through the switch. If it is open then that's why the saw doesn't work. Many of this type of oveload requires quite a push to reset as you're flexing a klixon disc back to make contact. If is open and you can't reset, it's available there although a bit high priced.

My outfeed table does not run level with infeed table . How do i adjust?

The most important part of the jointer is that the cutting edge is perfectly level with the out feed table, then, bring up the infeed table, with straight edge on rear, make all adj necessary to get these things lined up flat, not level, but flat, straight, even. Then it will cut perfectly flat and even. no snipes,. Hope this helps.

How do i set knifves in wards powr-kraft jointer mod.no. 2508a

Lower the in feed table to keep it clear of your work, hold a straight edge on the out feed table, both sides, adj the knives to just touch the straight edge, both sides the same, all knives set the same, should work like a charm, do not answer the phone while you are doing this. check all jib screws twice to make sure they are tight. Hope this helps.

I cannot level the tables on my jointer. When I place a level on my tables, the front of the in table is about 1/4" low. how do adjust it? Or better yet where can I geta manual?

Please go to this link, download the instruction manual, then read and understand it before using your jointer. Incorrectly adjusted, even correctly adjusted, jointers can be dangerous tools, and failure to heed the instructions can easily cost you the loss of a fingertip or worse. Only when properly adjusted with the jointer be of any worthwhile use, anyway.
For more detailed information and numerous good articles with details on how to tune and use a jointer, search google for "jointer tune up".

Re: Delta 6" shopmaster bench

It might seem obvious, and no doubt you've long since resolved this question, but was it possibly a breaker that threw due to an amperage overload on the circuit the jointer was plugged into?
The online manual (available here) takes pains to make sure the receptacle the jointer's plugged into is well grounded and any extension cords are of sufficient guage.
Assuming all that's in order, I guess you could bypass the switch to check to see if it is in fact at fault. Replacement parts are available from the same link above.

My Delta T360 jointer gauges the end of the boards when I run them through.

Check to see if your blades are set to the same depth as per your manual. Also you should only be taking off 1/32" at a time for a true cut.

Jointer blade installation ?.......model 103.21820..... spacers ? ....blade holder? when making a pass ,the part being machined bumps into the outfeed table

YOu have the infeed table set far too low, and/or your knives are not set even with the height of the outfeed table. You should very rarely need to take a pass of more than 1/16 th of an inch on a jointer, unless the wood you're jointing is very rough cut or cupped/warped.
Please also see the answer given in this article for information about where to download a user's manual and find information on using and tuning up a jointer.

My thickness adjustment only adjusts on one side.

As it should and is meant to. Please read some articles about the proper us and adjustment of your jointer before you use it, as improper use can result in serious injury. See here for starters.
If it is not cutting properly, search the owner's manual or online for jointer tune up and maintenance.
Good luck.

Jointers How does it work?

If stock doesn't fit on a stationary machine jointer, then you might consider hand planing. I know that this ideas sounds intimidating, but there is sometimes a time when hand tools can make quick work of things. Truing up large stock is one of those instances - especially in cases where this is wind or twist in stock. Stationary planers won't fix this without jigs, and most jointers can't handle larger stock.
