SOURCE: HONEYWELLTL8230A1003 THERMOSTAT, THE SCREEN GOES BLANK THEN ON F

Well, it's an be only one of three things then (in order) -

1) Bad wiring connection, particularly the middle pair of white and black wires connected to the supply wiring, or
2) One of the breakers or fuses has tripped or blown, or
3) Bad thermostat.

If 1 is OK, check 2 (double check if breakers, sometimes they don't look tripped when they are), and lastly, take the stat back and get another one.

The ground is secondary, and it is assumed your living in a house where 14-2, 12-2, or 10-2 with ground was NOT used. If it was, hook up the ground. If not, it's OK. The grounding requirement was added to the NEC after your house or whatever was built. It is not electrically active or needed for this circuit.

SOURCE: I have purschased a HoneyWell

Yes, the wiring should be the same for both thermostats. If you want, you can consult HoneyWell directly to confirm, but I am quite sure this is the case. It wouldn't hurt to confirm with HoneyWell, but you should be safe to proceed, their number is 1-800-328-5111 if you want to check.

Thanks
Tim

I have a few baseboards in the house and two of them controlled by a thermostat just stopped working

I AM ASUMING THESE ARE ELECTRIC BASEBOARD HEATERS, I ADVISE TO CALL A EXPERT BECAUSE YOU ARE DEALING WITH ABOUT 240 VOLTS OF ELECTRICITY, BUT THE PROBLEM MAYBE THE THERMOSAT ITS SELF, CHECK TO SEE IF THIR IS 240 VOLTS AT THE THERMOSTAT, IF NOT MAKE SURE THERE IS 240 AT THE BREAKER, IF THERE IS POWER AT THE BREAKER, THE THERMOSTAT. CHECK AT THE HEATER, ONE LEGG OF THE BREAKER CAN BE BAD, THESE ARE VERY COMMEN PROBLEMS AD OUT OF 200 HEATER PROBLEMS IT IS USALLY ONE OF THESE, PLEASE LEAVE FEED BACK IF THIS HELPS YOU THANKS

Turned t stat off baseboard is still hot and has been for 2 days

Turn off the power to the baseboard at the breaker box. Remove the cover on the thermostat, check that there is no power going to it, remove the thermostat from the wall and bring it to yor local electrical supply house for a replacement. Most liokely the contacts are welded closed. Make a small diagram of the wiring or take a picture to be able to put the new one on without confusion.

CAN I WIRE A 2 WIRE NOMA NON PROGRAMMABLE THERMOSTAT TO A 240 V BASEBOARD HEATER AND HOW. 2 BLACK WIRES ON THE THERMOSTAT. 3600W@240 VOLT

To the best of my knowledge, Noma does not make a high voltage stat (M# would be more helpful). You most likely have a heating only stat that operates on 24VAC. Also, at that wattage, the wires on your thermostat would need to be a minimum of 12ga.
