Question about Panasonic Sc-Hc37 - Micro System - Radio / Cd / Mp3 / Usb Audio Player
I have tried several types of memory USB sticks but none of them work , these are good quality usb sticks. It does say in the instruction notes that they do not guarantee that any usb will work ????? What is that about, its either a usb player or NOT !!!
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

So what's different? The TV. Anything else like the video type (s-video, composite, component)?
Perhaps if you described what cable is carrying video and the point-to-point connection to the TC-L42D2 we'd understand what isn't working.

SOURCE: Hello! I own the Panasonic
The clicking noise is the optical unit trying to read the disc. When its working normally the CD spin's and the system reads the table of content ( info: on the CD ) and the disc stops till you give the next command , e.g PLAY etc. Now when the laser beam is weak due to dust on the lens or age, the unit starts to hunt for the CD by popping the len up and down trying to focus the laser beam to get a strong reflection. This constant up and down movement is the clicking sound you are hearing.
Either unit has dust on the lens or is due for replacement ( if it has done more than 500 / 750 hours ).
