Here is the only solution:
CODE C:31:22 Symptom/State T reel fault
CODE C:31:22 Symptom/State S reel fault

Correction: Load the tape again, and perform operations from the beginning.

Trying different brands of DV stock does not solve your problem. If this problem continues you could have a tension problem. Replacement of the S & T reel tables will solve your problem.

Also make sure that you remove the tape after every session. Reloading it every time can help get it moving again. Replacing the reel tables have to be done by a professional unless you are determined and an electronic savvy. A reputable place will find one for you. This happens to worn out reels. It is possible that there is grease in the wrong place, preventing the proper turning of the reel.

Sony had a habit of putting too much grease in the gears and sometimes it spread into the tape compartment. Careful cleaning may help.

When turning on to vcr or camera, camera beeps repeatly

Sounds like the camera ATE THE TAPE will not eject, fastforward, or rewind.. This will need to be repaired , worse case a belt slipped or something got misalligned inside, I would recommend a camera shop so you can save the tape otherwise digging into this yourself could stirr up more issues in the long run. Please do be considerate of facts here that we cannot see your unit and this error is because the tape got ATE or something got jammed.

Thanks please do leave some feedback and ratings for your free answer today.

Try smacking the side of the camera relatively hard with the palm of your hand. Eject the tape and reinsert. You may need to do this a couple of times.

Blue screen on playback on Sony DCR-HC40

You can see an image in a camcorder viewfinder any time the camera's actually on in record mode, whether or not the camcorder is actually recording. So that's no guarantee.

Assuming the obvious (you have the right kind of tapes, they're not in write-protect mode, you rewind before playing, etc). I recommend that you borrow a tape of the same kind from someone else and check it on playback in your camcorder. This should lead you know understand if you have a playback problem or a recording problem.

No playback on DCR-TRV103

In playback mode the lCD displays the battery time, hi8 symbol and the tape counter. all the functions work the tape will play, rewind, fast forward. The screen stays blank on playback and the tape counter stays at 0:00:00 eventhough I can see the tape turning. I also hooke the camera to my tv and I got no picture.
