You didn't mention your OS? Your OS is not Genuine. You need a Product Key. What exactly does the "watermark" say in the bottom right of desktop. Someone has upgraded the OS with a copy of windows, maybe a beta version, that has expired and has no product key, which must be purchased. The computer was shipped new with Windows XP. This little program will help you determine the OS: http://www.filehippo.com/download_speccy/. If you supply the exact OS and the build, perhaps we can help you.
means whoever installed your windows used a non genuine code ie one thats been used on another computer probably, there is ways to change the product key to stop this message appearing but you will either have to buy one or get hold of a used code. if its windows xp it will stop working, if its vista or windows 7 it will likely still work but some stuff will be limited and u will have non genuine message.
You will need to purchase an authentic copy of Windows. All other avenues are not legal. You can then use the product key to activate your copy of Windows. When activating, use the telephone option to call Microsoft. They can help you if the copy of Windows you purchase isn't the same as the one you have installed. OEM vs. Retail, etc.
