Wine cooler does not seem to cool below 14 degrees celcius

I have a sylvania electronic wine cooler model: SE80047. Seems simple to operate, but i set temperature to 6C and it won't get lower than 14C. I have given it over 24 hrs. Recommended time is 24 hrs.Wondering what to do with it.

I have a Sylvania Electric Oven MODEL SM82500. The timer
has not been reliable for some time and I took the button to the store from were I purchased it as it is broken where it holds the shaft inside and they could not help me. I wonder if you be able to supply one. I really use the oven alot and would get the Timer Button.

Power surge caused wine cooler to quit cooling

Power surges, spike and brown-outs are a nemesis to small refrigeration units. The capacitor for the compressor likey was affected and possibly the start components in general, especially if the unit was operating when the surge occured.

What is the temperature setting for normal wine cooling?

It's between 55 and 65 degrees fahrenheit. If you're storing a lighter red wine, you'd want to keep it on the lower end (55 degrees). And for the darker (deep) red, you'd want to keep it on the higher end (65 degrees). All white wines should be on the lower end, and below. You can drop down to 50 degrees if you'd like. I hope this helps. Good Luck!
