How to reset factory default in Dlink G.SHDL 1504G Lan Extender?

D_Link, you left off the NAME of it, (not good that !)
we have no idea at all what your PW credentials are.
how could we?

first off , you have router with wifi already, right

question1: how owns this device, you or the ISP?
question2, if ISP owned they told you your credentials.
if you own it and bought it then you know your credentials if you forgot them then start over.
setting up the extender is covered in the manual for it.
did loose that too?
It must be joined tot he other wifi.
some extender also can be wired to the main router. with an ethernet cable, that works best of all. (for better coverage)

There is a rest port on all drinks. You need a paperclip ir something similar to depress.hold down for a count I 5 5 1000 s and then lights will blink and reset.

Look it up on the internet for the area that you live in

If using lan just connect the extender to the router with a lan cable. The extender will no need to setup.

the IP address is usually found on the case of the router along with the default user/ password login. You can google for default ip pass logins for any router.once you are in you can set things up.however you router should have come with a disc which would make the whole process easier.

The reset provided on LAN extender is for reboot & not the the hardware reset for LAN Extender. Use console cable. Go to hyper terminal mode & you will be able to access LAN Extender irrespective of whatever IP settings are. Then in Menu under software Maintainance you will find Factory reset. Use that option & it will come back to original 192.168.0.1 address. Then you can use it again normally. You still find problems mail me at following address.
