Question about Pioneer SD-533HD5 53" Rear Projection HDTV

Pioneer SD 5575 - Needs to wam up

The TV takes five minute to wam up...I only see the green light. No sound. No picture. When it finally turns on it takes another 10 minutes before pictures goes clear. Help!

I have pioneer sd-5575
the white letters on the screen have several ghost

Best thing i can suggest is buying a can of freeze from radio shack and spraying each ic/transistor till the problem appears again.

If the sound keeps working your probably just need a new lamp, if the sound does not stay on, you probably to get someone to fix the power supply.

TV picture goes out after 10 minutes of viewing with popping sound

It can be a couple things. Something bad on the power board. Or the vertical output circuit. How long ago did you purchase the television. Your best course of action is to have it serviced.

My television has a green tint to the

go into the tv picture settings and there should be an option for colors and try turning the green down, sorry its not an exact solution but i dont own one so just trying to help

When tv is turned on green light comes on then goes to standby

had the same problem on mine.
Found loose solder terminals on the main power transformer, resoldered fixed it up about 5 min.

Picture/sound goes out after 10 minutes of TV use

Rear projection hdtv, most likely damaged tubes. Don't repair this by your self get a tv repair man to do it before you injure your self.

Will not turn back on

Take off back cover. The problem power board is to the right of the board where the power plug feeds into the TV. There is a large white fuse right bend the power plug. With a meter it read ok; about 8 inches deeper into the TV on that board was the resister next to two fuses. My 4 amp 125 volt fuse did not read on my meter. After replacing, it worked fine.

Check your hori out put transistor if shorted replace NTE2973, this should be output number.if you need any more help let me know!
