My guess is you either have a satellite or cable box try unplugging the system cable or satellite and set for 5 minutes and then plug them back and and restart the unit up and see if it comes back the gemstar module would some times lock up causing this problem . and please let me know if that get's you working or if there is more trouble shooting to be done

I have a 52" rear projection TV. D52w19b. Green

Make sure you resolder the flyback and recheck any RCA fuses that may be blown - they are usually near the flyback. If this does not help check the site www.tvrepairkits.com for repair kits or tips for your projection tv model.

I have a TruFlat RCA model # 27F520T have lost original remote and FPA lock is on how do I unlock without original remote? Dish universal remote not working to unlock tv, it will pull up menu but cannot...

Try this -
  1. Press menu for main menu.
  2. Press CH + or CH - to highlight preferences.
  3. Press "OK" to enter preferences submenu.
  4. Press CH + or CH - to high light "FPA"
  5. Press VOL + or VOL - to turn the FPA on or off.
  6. Press MENU repeatedly to exit.
  7. Back to normal
  • FPA stands for Front Panel Lock. It makes it so kids don't push all the buttons on the front of your TV. The power button on the TV will still work and the remote will still function as normal.

RCA MODEL D52W19 I PRESS THAT POWER BUTTON GREEN LIGHT FLICKS FOR

try unplugging the tv for a few hours. then plug it in and push the power button on the front of the tv.

it has something to do with this processor issue inside the tv....its pretty much a stupid thing.

should have been a recall because everyone has the same problem on here.

this is pretty much just a band-aid over cancer, but i've been having to do this for about a month now, and it works.

My HD only works on my video setting, but I have no sound

Ok so the sound is fine on all of the other sources,
The component is running from the cable box to the amp, and you can see it.
just take the audio Red/Whit RCA out of the cable box, and input it to Cable/TV or whatever its labled, Red White, RCA.

If you want surround, then you will have to go Coaxial((single orange RCA) or TOS out of the cable box to the Digital input on the AMP. When you use this instead of Red White RCA, your amp will automatically switch between the different types of surround depending on what the source calls for or is encoded in.

You may have to get into the amps menu and change that amps input to Digital/Coax/TOS for the surround sound.

Any more specific questions, I need the model #s.

No sound

Is the DVD player connected to the TV via component cables? If so you should have 5 connectors total that will bring picture and audio information to the TV.
