If power light too is absent, the fault is with its main power regulator board. Check and replace damaged component/s at its main power regulator [SMPS] section circuit. Contact any service technician. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

It will be best to replace the power supply regulator board as card basis rather than making "Surgery" to it; which usually will make loss for both money and time. Even though you can make it right, it will cost around an amount equal to the cost of a new board; including the cost of (spare parts + service charge) More to say, most of the spare parts to it will be difficult to get from open electronic spare part market. This is true to most of the flat panel TV power supply boards; irrespective of its brand and screen size.
If power light at its front panel lights up, and the set won't power up by pressing the power button at the remote control; the main board is faulty. If so try a reset to this set. Sometimes it might help you.
There are two types of reset to TVs. The first is simple to do; a Hard Reset. The other is somewhat skilled; is a Factory Reset (System Reset). To make it a hard reset, just unplug the TV from AC mains wall socket, and re-plug it back after 15 minutes or so. If you do this by overnight; will be better. This procedure will make it a hard reset. If you want to make it a system reset [Factory Reset]; you have to enter its service mode option, and select the factory reset option. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked above.

My Digihome 39180SM FHD LED TV will not go past the standby stage. Brand new and will not turn on.

Main board fault. As there is standby light, the main power regulator board works well. Contact any service technician. In most cases, a firmware update might be necessary, after replacement of the main board. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Pull up older posts. Surf the site with patience. Do a search by type in the brand name of your device at its search box.

My onix 40" Fhd LCD tv has power going in (red

In order to ensure, it is not caused by the input device, connect a DVD player and see. Also look for any loose contacts in power outlet, RC jack, cable and socket. Switch off TV, switch off power, remove plug and wait for 48 hours and retry.

If problem persists, I suggest it is better to refer it to a qualified service technician, since the back cover has to be opened for investigation/rectification.

Blank screen with blue light

Hello
Check the backlight inverter board to your TV. This is a common fault for most of the LCD TVs. If it is faulty, the backlight won't light up, resulting a balck screen with sound.
This is the picture of the backlight inverter board to your TV. OK.12_23_2011_4_29_45_am.jpg
