Phillips tv is connected to LG BD HOME THREATER. I pushed speaker level by accident. Now I have no sound. What can I do? It was working fine until then.

Check your connections first. Make sure your input on the Sansui RZ-7001 menu is selected to dvd. Also, make sure the blue ray cables are also inserted in the correct inputs on the rear of the receiver(dvd input). via. rca cables(red, white & yellow) the yellow is the video, hdmi, or optical. If you do not hear sounds coming from your speakers you need to check the separate volume levels for the speakers within the receiver itself. Front and rears having different volume levels within the receiver. Hope this helps. Also make sure you check the volume on the dvd player. Thanks for visiting FixYa.com. Have a great day !
it is most likely bc of a firmware update. i have heard of this problem while working at best buy. rarely do i see the bravia link actually fail. i would shut both off for a little while and connect them without the link then connect the link. kinda like a reboot of the whole system . hope this helps!
Hello,
There are two things that I can suggest.
1-Test your optical cables to make sure they a good on a known working source because they are very fragile and break very easily.
2-Try to eliminate the use of optical output from tv to receiver. There may be a problem from the HDMI to optical conversion at the tv. Instead, try running the audio directly from the source to the receiver, and let the tv deal with video input only.
Hope this helps,
Good Luck.
First try hooking up a different source such as a DVD player or Cable box and see if you have audio. If you do then check the audio output from the computer. If you do not have audio then make sure the tv audio is up half way and turn off the set. When you do this you should hear the down chime provided you have the chime turned "on". If you do not hear the down or up chime then the sudio circuits on the Main bd are bad and the Main bd will have to be replaced. A quick way to check to see if the audio circuits are working is to listen for the up or down chime when turning on of off the set coming from the tv speakers speakers.
audio board located inside the mainboard console to the right trace your speakers wire to bd, disconnect the three leads, 3 phillips screws, and examine bd for burns. If yes, ebay the board id for a replacement.
Hi
I have the same tv but my dvd surround is a toshiba, that shouldn't matter though. When I watch a dvd I go to component 2 which is where I have my dvd connected on the input of the tv when I watch tv and want the surround on I go to component 1 which is the tv input then on my dvd player I go to auxillary and I can watch tv in surround. I don't know the LG home theatre system but you should be able to select your inputs like between dvd, tuner, aux. Flip between them and you should get sound. hope this helps.
