if it unsolicited from a company , open them up and find where it says unsubscribe ( normally very small print or hidden in a long sentence
click on unsubscribe
if from others right click on the e-mail and a drop down box will open go to the junk mail with the arrow and click on it that opens up another drop down box with two sections --add sender to blocked mail list and add sender domain to blocked list click on one first and and yes and then on the other and yes and then delete the e-mail
that should block any e-mails from that sender and also from that senders domain
You can access email on the iPad in 2 ways.
1) go to Settings / Mail etc....
and add an account and use the ISP's settings and your email details to be able to attach to your email account via POP or IMAP.
2) you can use Safari to navigate to your online mail account eg Hotmail by searching for Hotmail and entering your account and password details.
Hi you need the cloud to keep a back up so its best to keep it you can turn it off but need the password you sent up in iTunes and just go to your mail and remover you email account hope this helps
1)Press settings icon (the one with the cogs)
2) than scroll to Mail, Contacts, Calendar and press it.
3) Find your email account you want to modify and click it
4) find the section on the bottom that says "Mail Days to Sync and press the button
5) Now, you have limited options there, but you can pull email from 1,3 days or 1,2 weeks, 1 month or No Limit. If you click no limit it will pull your entire inbox. So, I might be careful in saying it will drain battery power. And or take room on your ipad away. So, if you have old emails with big attachments, be weary. Plus, depending if you are pulling all this mail over 3G you should take note of your data limits.
Hope that helps.
