There is 8 versions of this mower out there and there are two versions of this cable. You may simply look-up the wrong version. If your mower serial label has a product number look it by that number; otherwise, give cable 576712101 which superseded 535489601 a try.

Husqvarna Rider lawn mower cuts out when brake released I think it is a sensor but can't locate it.

Depends on what model this is, if it is a centre rear discharge machine then either the collector bag is not on correctly ( micro switch is in the back panel and operated by a lever when the bag is connected) or the seat switch is not connected or faulty ( micro switch under the seat pan,

Mower dies when engaging blades

Most riding mowers have a kill switch wired to the seat. It kills the engine if the rider falls off or gets off the seat. Check to make sure this switch is not shorted or faulty. Replace if necessary.
Hope this helps.

When using the front wheel brake the brake lihgt comes on and only goes off half way out. If released all the way out light stays on??????

I would guess that you have a bad front brake light switch. The switch in located in the right handlebar switch housing. To get to it, you'll have to loosen the adjusters on your throttle and idle cables. Then take out the two screws holding the switch housing halves together. Disconnect the throttle and idle cables from the throttle sleeve and carefully separate the two switch housing halves. The brake light switch is the small switch located in the front of the housing. You will have to de-solder the wires from the switch, replace the old switch with a new one by removing the screw that holds the switch in place, then re-solder the wires to the new switch.

Lubricate the handlebar and the inside of the throttle sleeve with some thin grease and install it back into the lower switch half. Reconnect the throttle and idle cables and carefully reassemble the two switch housing halves being very careful not to pinch any wires. Slide the throttle assemble all the way up against the front brake master cylinder. Readjust the two cables leaving just a bit of slack in each one. Turn the throttle wide open and let it go. The throttle should "snap" shut. If not, readjust the position of the throttle assembly on the handlebars and the cable adjustment until it does.

Good Luck

I have a Husqvarna Rider 155. Does the transmission oil ever need to be replaced? Is there a filter ? If so how do I change it? Where can I get a SERVICE manual?

Not an expert but have a rider 155. After looking at diagram on partstree.com, it does not appear to have a filter. Just a magnetic drain plug. This is the only site I have found for info and parts.
