Get phone contact out of gmail - Cell Phones

If your cell phone is synced with your gmail account, probably you also deleted it for gmail. Just to be sure, open gmail with your computer and look at CONTACTS. I'M AFRAID IT WILL BE GONE TOO FROM THERE. BUT TRY, ANYWAY.

I have Outlook 2010 client on my PC. My ISP mail account is forwarded to Outlook via POP3 mail account. I also have a gmail account to which I forward all mail to from my ISP mail address. My gmail calendar is bi-directionally synchronised to my Outlook calendar using 'Google Calendar Sync' and likewise my gmail contacts are bi-directionally synchronised to my Outlook contacts using 'Go Contact Sync'. then it was a simple matter on my Windows Phone 7 to create a Google mail account to my gmail account. I can create contacts, calendar entries in either Outlook, Gmail or my phone and they are all sync'd with each other. 'Google Calendar Sync' and 'Go Contact Sync'' are free downloads.

The easiest way, (since it is a google android phone)

If you dont have a gmail account you should get one! it is free and simple.

when logged on to www.gmail.com you have "mail - contacts - calendar" and so on on the top of the page

Go to Contacts and start filling in your contacts, once that is done, simply setup your mail account on the phone to gmail and select to sync contacts!

Hi,

Since HTC Hero runs on the Android Operating System, you can configure your phone to sync with your GMAIL account. This way, your contacts will be saved in your list of Contacts in Gmail and you can then download them if you want to.

To configure syncing with Gmail (if not already done), do as follows:

1. Go to Settings --> Accounts and Sync
2. Click on the Gmail a/c link that you'd want the contacts to be saved to.
3. Select "Sync Contacts" (checkbox). Once you tick the checkbox, your phone will continue syncing with Gmail at regular intervals.
4. If you want to sync immediately, press MENU and choose "Sync Now"
5. You'll be able to see visual confirmation of the syncing process.

Once the syncing is completed and if you want to download a copy of your contacts, use Gmail to Export your list of contacts from the Contacts section of your Account.
