If you know the existing password then go to settings for the router and change it there! If you do not know the existing password press the reset button till the lights turn off then the router will revert back to factory settings with default passwords!

SOURCE: Belkin 54G won't connect to the internet

Are you sure your modem is giving a WAN IP from your ISP? Try power-cycling your modem with your router unplugged then bring up your router next, if you havent tried that already... After that try connecting your modem directly to a PC and set your NIC card to DHCP and see if you get an IP address thats routable to the internet (i.e not a private IP)

SOURCE: My BELKIN Surf Wireless Modem

Hi, Im sure you have prob solved this but I have the same modem/router and i found if you are using a torrent client with active downloads you cannot use multiple computers and browsing is slow/non-existant. Only way i found to solve this was to de-activate the firewall in the router set up since then i have no problems but it is not the best solution

Connecting second laptop to my Belkin Wireless G router

I don't know the model of your router this would be very helpful. Most routers have a reset button on the back of the router. This will reset your router back to factory default settings. This will reset the pasword to default usually "admin". You will need to set up your router all over again. Let me know the model and I can send you a link for installation of your router.
