Question about NEC MultiSync VT48 Multimedia Projector
We have the above projector in our primary school. Unfortunately, the person who installed it a year or so ago did not leave us a manual. When we switch it on now it has a sign saying "Please Clean Filter". It tells you on the bottom to clean the outside of the filter with a vacuum cleaner, but I don't know where the filter is! I have tried cleaning the outside of the projector with a vacuum cleaner, but it didn't make any difference. I would be really grateful if some one could tell me how to clean the filter.
This is a solution for the VT 480 by NEC for filter clean. on the left side there are two slots that have dust filters which can slide vertically to reveal micro screens that one can blow, tap vigorously, or vacuum to remove any dust build up. I hope this helps you with your unit.
