Hi Kathy, the NF code means No Fill which indicates water is not passing to the drum, this could be the water taps are off or blocked or the door is not shut properly so stopping the water from entering! Have you just installed or was it running previously?

What does nf mean

NF stands for no fill, which means you are not getting any water into the machine. This is either because the water valve has failed or is clogged, the water is turned off or the pressure switch thinks there is already water in the machine but the last is very unlikely.

I am getting an error NF during the washer cycle run. The cycle will not complete and has to be restarted. What does this error message mean?

Hello

NF error in your Maytag is displayed due to no fill condition, when the washer tries to fill but is unable to nf is displayed. Please check the water inlet valve for any clogs and obstructions, you can also clean the inlet to solve the issue. Please get back to me if you have any other questions.

Nf at end of cycle

"nf" means you have a bad water valve . You may also have a bad hose underneath the lid .So check for them and replace if necessary

What does nf mean?

NF = Not Full
Is displayed when machine does not fill with water in the allowed time. Could be low water pressure at the feed pipe. Could be dirt clogging the inlet hose screen. Could be that the faucet valve is not fully opened.

VRT with a nf message.

if water flow is OK from the supply, remove the top cover and check the pressure hose that runs from the tub to the pressure sensor. They have a tendency to come loose on these machines. That is what my problem was...Always unplug power before removing covers...
