Question about Foxconn 661M03-G-6EL Motherboard

Sound id missing

I lately "formated" my pc with Windows, pack service 2 but i discoved that after this operation it doesn't emmit souds neither for the audio cds nor for the vcd films . the formating was successful . my sound card is foxconn .it doesn't have any numbers on it .i don't know which driver to download and install on my pc .
i am wondering if i ever need one ??!!!!!

It’s the standard AC97; go into device manager and allow Windows Updates to search for the driver on the internet; it should be able to find it (allow it to finish the search).
If not you can get the driver here:
You might have to register (but, it’s free).

I just installed a D945GTP and in device manager under "Other Devices" it shows "PCI Device" and "PCI Serial Port". Anyone knowI have everything installed.

I have a 845GV Chpest zebronic mother board in my CPU. & i just want to format my PC window service pack 2 is not supporting. so please let me know which window i should use to format my PC

You can format the Computer but i feel like your computer is not too old to not to accept the service pack 2 ..
Check the system configuration and format the system

Disk formatting is the initial part of the process for preparing a hard disk or other storage medium for its first use. The disk formatting includes setting up an empty file system.

So you can format using the Windows OS CD --
Format the Drives and delete the partition

Check the Video -- May help you


If you want to format the pc and install the new window then
1) First take the Backup of your files
2) You need to have the Operating System Disc
Windows XP Professional System Requirements
PC with 300 megahertz or higher processor clock speed recommended
128 megabytes (MB) of RAM
1.5 gigabytes (GB) of available hard disk space*
Super VGA (800 x 600) or higher-resolution video adapter and monitor
CD-ROM or DVD drive
Keyboard and Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device

My pc has complete his formating in sixteen hours hp compaq d6120 microtower pc

DO YOU HAVE XP Booting CD service pack 2

insert XP BOOTING CD and delete the partition and create it again and then format it and install Windows XP service pack 2...

i have nec gigabyte n4 ibfgl v 1.2 mother board . i have format the pc & had install windows service pack 2 but now only audio sound & lan that is internet connection was not working

goto control panel switch to classic view , double click add remove programs , then when the list comes up look for service pack2 and remove , then restart computer
