If you want to disables Vista’s FIREWALL then you need to go into your Windows Security Center
Click Start and click Control Panel.
Click Security and then select Windows Firewall.
Click Change Settings.
From the window that appears, click the Advanced tab.
Remove the check beside the connection that you want to disable the Windows Firewall for.
Click OK.
Click Start and click Control Panel.
