We have designed many of our car seats to work with more than one base, for your convenience. Please see the chart here for Classic Connect models.
The SnugRide Click Connect 30, 35, 35LX and 40 infant car seat carriers are compatible with any SnugRide Click Connect infant car seat base. Consumers should adhere to the height and weight requirements for the SnugRide Click Connect infant car seat carriers as stated in their owner's manual; however, the SnugRide Click Connect 40 infant car seat carrier is restricted to a height limit of 32 inches when used with a SnugRide Click Connect 30, 35 or 35LX base.
As the chassis you're looking to fit the carseat to is a Graco model, if there are adaptors available they will be manufactured, tested and sold from Graco. We recommend you contact them to discuss availability.
Hi,
I went to the Graco website and got stuck when it didn't recognize the number 8639.
Here is a link to their product instructions web page. You might need to get some information from the car seat. I hope this helps... Good luck!
Not sure which model you have, but we just took ours apart. I unscrewed the rain cover (two screws on each side) and the cover slides off. I immediately put the two metal bars back in (with screws) so as not to lose the parts.
Our basket has several snaps to undo, then the basket pops off at the hinge point (toward the front wheels). There was a little button to press in on either side and it just pulled back and slid out. Then the basket slid off so we could clean it.
I have the same problem with mine. It's an easy fix. Unlock the straps (pull the little gray release tab) and then pull firmly upward on the lap belt opposite the loose strap. To reword: If your left shoulder strap is the loose one, go the right side of the seat, where the LAP belt comes out of the seat, and pull firmly upward on that part of the belt. It will pull the slack out from the other side. I hope that was helpful.
